چکیده مقاله
Cu(BDC) was synthesized and subsequently converted to the Cu2(BDC) metal–organic framework in accordance with established literature protocols. The resulting Cu2(BDC) material was employed as a heterogeneous catalyst for the aerobic oxidative coupling of anilines to afford the corresponding azo compounds. In this work, azo derivatives were obtained from anilines under mild conditions using a cost-effective, readily accessible copper-based MOF, with atmospheric oxygen serving as the sole oxidant. Among the solvents evaluated, toluene delivered the highest yields and was therefore identified as the optimal reaction medium. Key reaction parameters, including the choice of base, reaction temperature, and catalyst loading, were systematically examined and optimized.
