چکیده مقاله
With the rapid increase in the emergence of novel pollutants with high solubility in water and complex molecular structures, an effective and fundamental method for water purification is essential. The use of nanoscale photocatalysts, due to their high efficiency in removing such pollutants from water sources and the significant role of nanoscience and nanotechnology, can greatly assist in achieving this goal. In this study, a [Bi₂O₃/Cu-Ni] nanocomposite was investigated as an efficient photocatalyst for the degradation of the pharmaceutical pollutant Adriamycin. The nanocomposite was synthesized by combining bismuth oxide (Bi₂O₃) and bimetallic copper-nickel (Cu-Ni) nanoparticles simultaneously. Its structural, morphological, and surface characteristics were analyzed using X-ray diffraction spectroscopy (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The synthesis method ensures a uniform distribution of Cu-Ni nanoparticles on the surface of Bi₂O₃, leading to an increased active surface area and enhanced visible-light absorption.
