An unexpected synthesis of dimethyl 2-((cyclohexylcarbamoyl)(3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl)methyl)malonate via reaction of 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzylidene Meldrum,s acid with cyclohexylisocyanide in the presence of couarin-3-carboxylic acid in methanol

چکیده مقاله
Multicomponent reactions are an inspiring class of transformations in organic chemistry. These reactions, which incorporate three or more reactants into a single reaction product, offer advantages over traditional bimolecular reactions [1]. Isocyanide-based multicomponent reactions were some of the very first multicomponent reactions discovered in organic chemistry [2].These reactions are one of the most powerful tools in the synthesis of new heterocycles, pharmaceuticals, and unexpected products in organic chemistry [3-6].
In this work we react 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzylidene Meldrum,s acid with cyclohexylisocyanide and coumarine-3-carboxlicic acid in in methanol for preparation of new heterocycle. However, analysis of the results showed that coumarine-3-carboxlicic acid did not react and with the participation of the solvent in this reaction, compound dimethyl 2-((cyclohexylcarbamoyl)(3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl)methyl)malonate was synthesized as the final product.
