| A novel heterogeneous magnetic nanocatalyst, with excellent catalytic activity, has been successfully synthesized and characterized. This catalyst, consisting of an isatin-Neodymium complex immobilized on SrFe2O4@SiO2 nanoparticles, under analysis via TGA, SEM, EDS, ICP-MS, XRD, and FT-IR, confirming its successful formation. Performance evaluation revealed excellent catalytic activity in the synthesis of tetrahydrobenzo[b]pyrans derivatives, achieving yields of up to 98% (40 min reaction time) under optimized conditions. Tetrahydrobenzo[b]pyrans, also known as tetrahydro-H4-chromenes, are oxygen-containing heterocycles that attract attention in synthetic and medicinal organic chemistry due to their biological and pharmaceutical properties. Furthermore, the catalyst demonstrated robust performance under green conditions, maintaining efficacy over five consecutive recovery cycles |
