چکیده مقاله
Biodiesel is widely considered a more environmentally friendly substitute for conventional petroleum fuels. It is a clean, renewable, biodegradable, and non-toxic biofuel that can be produced from a range of feedstocks, such as agricultural residues, wood by-products, energy crops, vegetable oils, and aquatic biomass [1-4]. Common chemical processes used in biodiesel production include transesterification and esterification reactions [5,6]. The main objective of the present study is to first synthesize g-C₃N₄/Biochar (Biochar-based graphitic carbon nitride) nanocomposites via pyrolysis and subsequently reacted with polyethyleneimine (PEI) and then 1,3-propanesultone as a sulfonating reagent, to use for biodiesel production. The reaction was carried out at 65 °C, yielding excellent results with a very short reaction time.
