چکیده مقاله
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are one of the most important porous compounds that are known for their stability and high porosity. This class of porous nanoreactors is grown and synthesized from different metals as metal clusters and organic compounds as ligands in two and three dimensions [1]. Due to the designability, diversity in the choice of metal and ligand, and high chemical and thermal stability, suitable surface area, high porosity, these structures are widely used as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), biotechnology, catalyst and photocatalyst, and drug absorption [2]. Recently, the photocatalytic application of MOFs has received much attention. Photo-based advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) are currently expanding with the aim of destroying and eliminating environmental pollutants [8-10]. This method can quickly convert a wide range of organic pollutants into harmless minerals, water, and carbon dioxide. Sometimes, oxidizing agents are used in addition to this method to increase work efficiency. One of these oxidizing agents is peroxymonosulfate (PMS) [3]. In this report, MIL/CQDs was used as an efficient photocatalyst for the photodegradation of Levofloxacin (LVF). The introduced system has significant advantages such as high stability, easy separation, and an eco-friendly nature, which can be in line with the concepts of sustainable and clean energy sources.
