| چکیده مقاله |
| A cross-linked chitosan-glutaraldehyde/TiO2-Fe3O4 (CHS-GTD/TF) composite was synthesized through a two-step process. Firstly, Fe3O4/TiO2 was synthesized by sol-gel method Secondly, Fe3O4/TiO2/Chitosan nanocomposite was synthesized using a co-precipitation method as follows: 1.5 g of prepared Fe3O4/TiO2 was added into a flask. Following the addition of 5 mL of oleic acid, magnetic stirring was used for 22 hours at room temperature. The mixture was rinsed with ethanol multiple times, then separated magnetically, and then dried in vacuumed oven. The dried powder, along with 0.5 g of chitosan, was added to a 2% w/v acetic acid solution, and the mixture was kept in an ultrasonic bath for 12 minutes. Next, it was agitated for 20 min with a magnetic stirrer. Finally, 2 mL of glutaraldehyde cross-linker was introduced to the vessel and stirred for an additional 3 hours, while the temperature was adjusted to 40ºC. Finally, the product was magnetically separated, washed, and dried. The resulting (CHS-GTD/TF) composite demonstrated excellent adsorption properties for methyl violet 2B (MV 2B) dye removal from aqueous solutions. |
