چکیده مقاله
The shortage of energy resources can cause many losses to the environment and the world economy The use of inexhaustible energy sources such as sunlight, simulated sunlight and visible light systems has now become widespread. Photocatalytic systems using light sources have shown good activities in the synthesis of organic compounds and the destruction of environmental pollutants, which requires the expansion and improvement of their activities. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are a new class of nanoreactors that are composed of various metals and organic compounds as ligands diversity in the selection of suitable ligands and metals has made MOFs designable. This unique structure of MOFs has been used in various fields such as catalysis and photocatalysis. As mentioned, one of the most important properties of MOFs can be in the field of photocatalysis. MOFs trap light well and, due to their unique properties, provide a suitable environment for electron spin and high conductivity for photocatalytic activities such as the degradation of environmental pollutants as well as performing organic reactions such as oxidation, reduction and other organic [1]. Among these transformations, the selective oxidation of alcohols to carbonyl compounds is a fundamental reaction in both laboratory synthesis and industrial production, as aldehydes and ketones serve as key intermediates in pharmaceuticals and fine chemicals. The development of photocatalytic materials to accelerate such oxidation processes, especially under ambient conditions and using renewable energy has gained significant attention due to advantages such as low cost, effective utilization of solar energy, and reduced pollutant formation [2].
