چکیده مقاله
Water is essential for all forms of life, and increasing concerns over water scarcity highlight the importance of efficient wastewater treatment to achieve the required purity for applications ranging from agricultural irrigation to drinking water. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), as crystalline coordination polymers composed of metal ions linked by polydentate organic ligands, have emerged as promising materials due to their large surface area, tunable porosity, structural diversity, and ease of functionalization [1]. In recent years, this class of porous compounds has found wide applications in various fields such as adsorption, desorption, gas storage, drug release, catalysis and other fields. One of the most important properties of these compounds is their semiconducting property and photocatalytic application. Carbon dots offer significant advantages such as biocompatibility, easy surface modification, strong colloidal stability and low cost, which further enhance the photocatalytic performance of MOF-based systems [2-3]. It should be noted that due to the presence of optically active sites and synergistic interactions between metal ions and organic ligands, hybrid materials show better photoactivity compared to their individual components. In this research, the aim is to expand these photocatalytic activities and create new photocatalyst based on MOFs that can be used for the degradation of cationic dyes
