چکیده مقاله
The construction of multifunctional scaffolds that enable domino transformations toward value added heterocycles remains a compelling objective in synthetic methodology. We present a streamlined approach to protected allenyl aldehyde derivatives and their facile conversion into hydrazones, which serve as versatile precursors for intramolecular cyclization. The allenylhydrazones were synthesized directly from allenylaldehydes and, under suitable basic conditions, underwent a domino sequence involving proton abstraction, cyclization, and tautomerization. This process efficiently furnishes fused heterocyclic frameworks under mild reaction conditions. Key advantages of this methodology include operational simplicity, broad substrate compatibility, and the ability to access complex heterocyclic backbones in a single synthetic step.
