| چکیده مقاله |
| Recently, graphene and graphene-based materials have attracted significant attention for a wide range of applications, owing to their remarkable physical and chemical properties, high surface area, and versatile functionalization potential. The aim of this study is to fabricate and investigate carbon structures produced by the Laser-Induced Graphene (LIG) method using Kapton tape as a carbon precursor on three types of substrates: glass, polycarbonate, and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). After placing the Kapton tape onto the substrates, the samples were irradiated using a CO₂ laser device operating at a wavelength of 10.6 µm and a maximum power of 125 W at various power levels. The samples exposed to a power of 15 W exhibited a more uniform carbon layer on the substrate surface. The formation of the carbon layer was confirmed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Raman spectroscopy, and the surfaces of the substrates became hydrophobic after carbon deposition, making them suitable for hydrophobic or water-repellent applications.
