چکیده مقاله
Silk fibroin (SF) is a natural, biodegradable, and mechanically robust biopolymer that serves as a promising platform for sustainable wearable electronics. Sericin removal and surface functionalization enhance its activity and enable efficient incorporation of conductive nanomaterials. The degumming process—using ultrasonic cleaning and CaCl₂–ethanol–water treatment—exposes the pure fibroin matrix, which can be coated with graphene oxide, carbon nanotubes, and other nanocarbons to improve its low intrinsic conductivity. These lightweight and flexible SF‑based hybrids are well suited for wearable supercapacitors and advanced biosensors. The synergy between biopolymers and conductive nanomaterials enables sensitive and stable detection in glucose, strain, and pressure sensors [1-2].
