| چکیده مقاله |
| Schiff base compounds, especially azo-azomethine derivatives bearing both azo (–N=N–) and azomethine (–CH=N–) groups, have attracted considerable attention due to their structural versatility, photochromic behavior, and wide applicability in coordination chemistry and optical materials [1,2]. In this work, an azo-azomethine sensor (Scheme 1) was synthesized and its spectral behavior toward selected metal cations, with emphasis on Tl⁺, was examined by fluorescence spectroscopy in aqueous solution. Experimental studies involved recording emission spectra of the ligand in the presence of individual cations and performing competition experiments to simulate more realistic multi-ion conditions. In order to investigate the compound L as a fluorescence sensor, the emission spectrum of the sensor was obtained by adding different metal ion solutions to the sensor solution . The addition of Tl1+ ions significantly increased the sensor emission (Fig. 1). |
