Synthesis of 2,3-Dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-one derivatives using modified Bone char as an efficient catalyst

چکیده مقاله
Bone char is a solid mesoporous material which is produced under pyrolysis of animal bones. modified Bone char catalyst is classified as a heterogeneous catalyst. It consists of approximately 80% hydroxyapatite. It has been used as catalyst for oxidation, reduction, synthesis, and multicomponent reactions by various modification on its surface [1]. In this work, bone char nanoparticles were prepared from pyrolysis of bone char and functionalization with 3-chloropropil-trietoxsysilan. After adding the ligand and Ni(NO3)2.6H2O the final catalyst prepared and employed for synthesis of 2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-ones. Quinazoline heterocycles play a significant role in pharmaceutical chemistry and the development of new drugs due to their unique chemical structure and broad biological properties, including anticancer, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antihypertensive activities [2].
