| چکیده مقاله |
| A bipyridinium ionic-liquid-functionalized periodic mesoporous organosilica (Bipy-PMOs-IL) was prepared and used as a support for an oxygen-rich molybdenum(VI) oxido–diperoxido complex, forming the hybrid catalyst MoO(O₂)₂@Bipy-PMO-IL. Comprehensive analyses including SAXS, low-angle XRD, FE-SEM, TEM, BET, AAS, FT-IR, and EDS confirmed the ordered mesostructure and successful incorporation of the Mo complex. The presence of hydrophobic ionic-liquid moieties within the PMO channels enhances the mobility of organic substrates through the framework, thus facilitating efficient catalytic transformations (Scheme 1). The catalyst exhibited excellent performance in the selective oxidation of sulfides in water using 30% H₂O₂ under mild, room-temperature conditions, offering high yields, simple operation, and recyclability for at least five cycles. A comparison with MoO(O₂)₂@SBA-15 revealed that the IL-containing mesoporous structure plays a crucial role in maintaining catalyst stability, as the SBA-15-supported counterpart showed a pronounced decrease in activity after only two runs.
