چکیده مقاله
Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) are crystalline, porous materials with tunable structures, high surface areas, excellent stability and designability. They are promising for diverse applications, including catalysis, gas storage, environmental remediation, biomedical uses, and energy technologies [1]. Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) can serve as efficient catalysts for the synthesis of 1,2,3-triazoles through the copper-catalyzed azide–alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC), commonly referred to as the click reaction. This process generates 1,2,3-triazoles, five-membered nitrogen-rich heterocycles that act as effective bioisosteres for amide bonds and other groups. These triazoles enhance metabolic stability, hydrogen-bonding ability, water solubility, and favorable noncovalent interactions such as π–π stacking, dipole–dipole, and hydrophobic contacts with biological targets. Consequently, triazole-based compounds exhibit diverse pharmacological effects, including anticancer, antimicrobial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, anticonvulsant, antimalarial, and neuroprotective activities. The simplicity, selectivity, and broad functional-group tolerance of CuAAC have enabled rapid synthesis of chemical libraries, firmly establishing triazoles as a key motif in modern drug discovery and chemical biology [2].
