چکیده مقاله
Covalent organic frameworks (COFs), as a new generation of porous materials, are constructed from robust building units [1]. In recent years, their outstanding characteristics including excellent thermal and mechanical stability, high surface areas, structural tunability, and post‐synthetic modification capability have enabled their broad application in chemistry and organic synthetic methodologies. Due to excellent characteristics of COFs, these materials are rational candidates as catalysts in many organic functional group transformations such as multicomponent, coupling, and photocatalytic reactions [2]. Pyridone derivatives, as key precursors in organic chemistry, agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, functional materials, and biologically active compounds, have attracted significant attention [3]. Compounds containing pyridone frameworks exhibit diverse biological activities, such as antibacterial, anti-Alzheimer, anti-HIV, and antifungal properties [4]. Despite extensive studies, the development of hybrid pyridones with distinct structures and enhanced performance still demands greater exploration. In this research, quinoline-linked COF functionalized with sulfonic acid groups was used as a heterogeneous catalyst for the synthesis of hybrid pyridones .
