| چکیده مقاله |
| Nowadays, heterogeneous catalysts have been widely used and developed due to their easy recycling and separation. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are a class of heterogeneous catalysts that can be synthesized by combining organic ligands and various metals at temperatures up to 221 °C, and pH between 1 and 11. They also have properties such as large pore size, suitable surface area, network stability, ease of design and synthesis, thermal stability, regular and discrete structure, and low density, which make this class of materials have many catalytic and photocatalytic applications [1]. The photocatalytic applications of MOFs are extensive and manageable. MOFs accelerate electron transfer and reduce charge carrier recombination, which is a prominent feature that has led to widespread photocatalytic applications of this class of materials. Numerous photocatalytic reactions have been reported for MOFs, including oxidation and reduction of organic compounds, coupling reactions, hydrogen gas production, and degradation of environmental harmful pollutants. Meanwhile, the presence of pollutants in the environment is always a major challenge to health. Photocatalytic degradation is one of the most important approaches to remove these pollutants [2-3]. Considering the above, in this research work, we used a metal-organic frameworks (Fe-MOFs) for the photocatalytic degradation of Nile Blue dye, which is a very harmful environment pollutant. Degradation under visible light conditions, high degradation efficiency, and production of low-hazard intermediates after degradation are among the most important features of the presented methodology |
