| In this study, we report the preparation and characterization of an innovative palladium-based nanocatalyst, where palladium is anchored on phosphine-functionalized magnetic nanoparticles coated with an ionic liquid (IL) layer. This nanocatalyst is applied in the Suzuki–Miyaura cross-coupling reaction, one of the most powerful approaches for the creation of C–C bond, performing efficiently at room temperature in a green ethanol-water solvent system with low palladium loading (0.12 ppm of palladium). It successfully catalyzes structurally different aryl halides and boronic acids, providing excellent yields under mild, air-tolerant conditions. Comprehensive characterization confirms the catalyst’s robust structure, and recyclability up to 7 runs demonstrates its durability across multiple uses without significant performance loss . |
