چکیده مقاله
:Introduction: Surface-modified adsorbents with transition metals and organosilane coatings are effective for wastewater treatment. Nickel-doped alumina (Al₂O₃–Ni) with silane functionalization enhances adsorption via metal–dye coordination, organic interactions, and hydrophobicity, offering chemical stability and selectivity toward persistent dyes .Experimental: Alumina is doped with nickel to create Lewis acidic sites, improving electron-donor interactions and coordination with dyes. A silane coating forms a covalent organosiloxane layer, strengthening hydrophobic interactions, adding π-electron-rich domains, and stabilizing the structure. Silane prevents pore collapse, enhances durability, and maintains the metal–oxide interface. IR, EDX, XRD, TGA, and SEM confirm uniform active sites and stability
